P-Laser’s non-contact cleaning process results in a clean and oil free surface ready for use. Whether you want to paint, coat, plate or just leave bare, this one step process speeds up the process and does not leave a mess to clean up afterward.
Using light to clean surfaces means there are no introduced items which result in messy byproduct such as dirty chemicals to dispose of or abrasive media to contain and dispose of. A simple ventilation/suction system to collect the vapor plume is all that is needed.
Some of the advantages of laser cleaning are as follows:
- Dry cleaning process
- Low maintenance
- Little to no noise
- No consumable media
- No chemicals
- Easy to use
P-Laser systems are a Class 4 laser which can be used manually or adapted to production lines for full automation applications.
As our lasers range from low power-high density to high power-low density systems, the right fit for the right application is what we provide.
We would be glad to hear from you and understand your particular project. P-Laser has a full research and development department which can help guide you through the process of developing the right configuration for your application.

How it works!
Laser cleaning technology is a high end cleaning solution which uses short pulsed laser light as a working medium.
As the light hits the surface the dirt layer and any oxides underneath will absorb the energy and evaporate or crimp off the substrate leaving no residues.
This action causes a plasma layer usually in the form of a smoke plume which is typically vacuumed away and captured in a filtered recovery unit.
The substrate (usually metal) will not absorb the energy very well which is why the substrate is not affected.
